KG’s Blog Post #63 – 6/13/10 12:36pm

Battle Appoaches,

Hello good people! How are things going out there?

Well, I managed to get thru my 6/8 one year without to much crying. We did manage to put Brother Bill with my old man on a course that I can’t reveal due to my oath as a golfing religious nutbag.

I’m on my way to Baltimore to play in a wounded warrior pro-am and then off to CT to try and fix my game.

The nerve pain has been at an absolute high. It is mind boggling the pain this thing produces. It will end someday, but it’s really hard on my body & soul.

My goals for the Dick’s event [June25-27] are still going to be the same, even though I have done nothing – Break Par One Day!

I now have the one year date of losing the leg and leaving it in the swamps. I’m thinking I will have no issues with that one, but it’s kinda fun to wonder did they give the leg to science, cremation or gator.

Sadly, I must admit that I’m traveling without Munch this trip. I was just too worried that I would not be able to take good enough care of him on this trip, especially if the leg keeps acting up.  So he is playing with Dream and Knight at the house. All will be well.

Ok, just wanted to give you a quick note on my psychotic plans.

Be good,

Ken

    Mr. Green,

You continue to amaze me with your will & determination. Not only in golf, but in life!

I have no doubt that we will see you in red numbers @ Dick’s.

    Keep up the good work!

Hey Ken stay strong. Know that one day everything will be fine. Wish I could be in Endicott for the Dick’s Open. I’ll be in TN that same weekend for a tournament that I’ve been playing in for 10 years now. Good luck and be sure to get some speidi’s with Mark at Cosmo’s in Johnson City. They are the best! Take care. Lee

Hang in there, buddy. I know it can’t be easy, but I know you can do anything possible after all you’ve done so far. Look forward to seeing you at the Connecticut Open, but would love to see you sooner if you’re going to be in West Palm Beach the first week in July. My wife and I will be vacationing in Florida for two weeks before returning to Connecticut for the Futures Tour event in Bloomfield and the Connecticut Open in Fairfield. Let me know if you’re going to be in Florida July 1-7 via email at golfwrtr@aol.com. Best of luck in finding what you need to find and playing in the Dick’s Sporting Goods Open in 10 days. It’s too bad that’s the same week at the Travelers Championship. Hopefully you’ve progressed enough in a year to make a PGA Tour appearance back in Connecticut. God Bless, Bruce
