KG’s Blog Post #84 – 11/20/10 2:30pm (Headaches, Thanksgiving Wishes to All)

Heads Up,

Good day my friends. Well once again I have 3-putted. It’s been awhile since I’ve put these skin arse fingers to work…

I well tell you that I have a new leg that is absolutely the best working leg I’ve had for swinging the club. We made some changes and it’s really nice to feel how much better it is in the swing. Sadly, I’m still too weak n short and swing like a hack on holiday.

I’ve had some issues regarding headaches, memory, and enunciation in speech. We had thought it was because I have been on so many pills. I’m off many now, except for nerve & pain and I have been worse as of late so we did a MRI and a EEG (think that’s it).  I’m sad but happy because I thought I was losing it when all these “things” were occurring. It’s really strange when I don’t know someone I’ve known for years.   I’m glad to know that I have some brain damage from the accident and it’s not me going looney. Nothing crazy I hope (will know for sure Tuesday). I’ll just be wackier than normal.   The head along with the leg has been torture. I have total belief that we will get this all cleared and it’ll at least be tolerable.

The PR machine for Tiger is just sad. The only way he will improve as a person is by what he does, and only time will be the judge of that. I’m personally rooting for him to become a good man, as he is in a position to do really good things if he chooses to.

I wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving. I’m hoping to still go to Bermuda and play in that event, but as of this moment I’m not sure.

Corny thought of the day is just give a friend a hug and call him what you please.

Be good,

Ken

Hope you have a great Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday season.
Hang in there. I think you’re doing great for all you’ve been through. Just take your time and be patient. You will continue to get better as you heal. We all want to be be better tomorrow and it will only happen if you don’t push it to much.
I can’t tell you how mich I admire you and your will to overcome what has happened in such a short time. Can’t wait to see you back on the course ASAP.
