KG’s Blog Post #86 – 1/9/11 1:48pm (KG+Calc/Legends, etc etc)
First One of 2011,
It is the very beginning of the new year, so I have decided to start the news on a Munch tone. I have been told by various individuals that Munch should not be allowed on the bed. Those people have so much to learn from the love of the Muncher.
Now back to the news that matters just as little. I Will not be asking for exceptions for the first few tourns due to a rare occurrence – the tour has informed me that in all probability the tour will have to take away all tour exemptions.
With that bit of news, I probably will not be playing in any tournaments until the first of April. Mark Calcavecchia and I hope to be playing in the Liberty Mutual in Savannah in April [ Apr18-24: http://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/s504 ]. My good friend Mike Reid was very understanding when I asked him about playing with Mark, as Mark and I have been friends for over 30 years and he just turned 50. Somehow Calc has yet to win so it will not shock me if I have to carry the old fart to his first victory.
Going back to my health… I will tell you that we have started a new procedure that to date may be the most successful. NRCT is a very simple procedure that is often used on Parkinson’s and fibromyalgia patients, so they have decided to give me a try. So far it has reduced my constant electric shock feeling a couple of decibels. So hopefully in a month or two we will have fantastic results.
I am hoping to still go to New Zealand in March and play in a couple of events, but I am not sure if the logistics will work out.
That is pretty much my story for the moment. I do wish to say happy birthday to Jennie’s mom, Libby, who is turning about 120 today.
By the way, my computer died so I do everything on my Ipad that Dicks Sporting Goods gave to all players, which is clearly a plug by me for them.
By the way, I did manage to bowl two straight 600 series in the last couple of weeks. Tomorrow I will make it three.
Good day my friends, be good and love all.
