Ken, I am a "Life Member" PGA - wish you the best, whie "healing", practice your short game! Give your body time to heal! I live next to Denali (Talkeetna, Alaska) When you want a new challenge, come see us - in the winter! http://www.meandering-moose-lodging.com/

Beyond Survival
In 1982, Mark Inglis and Phil Doole became trapped in an ice cave during a blizzard as they attempted to climb Aoraki/Mount Cook, the highest mountain in New Zealand. How long did it take for rescuers to find the two men? Due to the severe frost bite the men experienced, both Inglis’ legs had to be amputated.

Inglis returned to the mountain in 2002. In 2006, he became the first double amputee to reach the summit of Mount Everest.

Having looped for KG in the CT Open Monday I can verify that he played very well considering the amount he's played and the pain I know he was in throughout the day. Even par was well within reach had he had some luck on the greens. I think everyone at the event was glad he was participated and gave it his best.

Thanks for a fun day.

The first thing I think about when I wake up is this: where the hell is my leg?, I've got to take a leak. That's about as honest as I can be. Except that I usually know where my leg is, it's just a matter of getting it on so i can roll down the steps to the john. I know that's WAY too much info, but you asked.
