KG’s Blog Post #190 – 9/7/13 6:51pm (Montreal Championship – thru 2 rnds: 73-72=145 T25)
Round 2 (even par 72) brought some ugly ugmo and great L wedge work. As good as I drove the ball yesterday I went Hyde today with only 6 fairways and they were 8 awful tee shots that missed short and crooked. I”m still not sure how I pulled out an even par round.

KG thru 2 (of 3) rounds: 73-72 1 T25
I picked off 8 greens again and 3 birdies which was good really. I must hit the driver better tomorrow to have a chance at a decent score. There’s no way I can pull ducks out of my ass again. I made some good par putts on the back and for the day I hit 6 of the best bunkers shots a man can hit. They were all hard up & downs and the worse shot was 4 feet. It was very impressive if I don”t say so myself. My leg was bad last night and swelled up with a lot of pain so I”m not sure if that influenced my swinging the club.
It was very uncomfortable today playing but I”ve done it for 4 years basically and have had some good days, so I”m leaning towards giving the leg some credit along with maybe not being real comfortable playing tournament golf yet. The only way to get better is play more so it’s my hope to do as much as I can be for the start of the Green season next year. Look forward to seeing what happens tomorrow, ugly or not.
