KG’s Blog Post #191 – 9/8/13 8:11pm (“I’m thrilled with the progress I’ve made since June”)
I’m very pleased with what happened this week. Today was just impossible for me. I had 3 things going against me and I’m just not that good a man yet. I had only one hour sleep due to discomfort, my wound opened and turned into a blood bath down in my socket and the cold wind was just too much for me.

I tried as hard as I good to pull it out, but I couldn’t focus or swing with so much affecting me. Please don’t take this as me making excuses, I’m just telling you what it was. I might have shot 80 if healthy. I skulled 2 chips and bladed an L- wedge from 68 yards and finished with a 7 iron into 18 after hitting a great tee shot where I proceeded to fly it 80 yards into a bunker that doesn’t even come into play but managed to bury it into the lip. I then proceeded to try and hit it out where I went straight from the top of the bunker lip to the bottom 6 down, classic way to finish.
I’m thrilled with the progress I’ve made since June. Once I get this winter under my belt, I truly believe I will be much better and from there I just must play more tournament golf so I can get my brain read acted to tournament golf. To be where I was before this myriad of problems hit today is just awesome. The good news is Canadian police gave me a ticket on the highway going 73, when was the last time you got stopped for doing 73. Bull donk, I scream foul.
