Super is near -

Good day to all. I may be repeating myself again – no, I’m not drunk. I can’t say enough what all your words have done for me. I’m just so lucky that you all have taken the time to write some words for me. They have all meant the world to me – the hang-in-there ones, the ones from parents who have had the misfortune of losing someone, the ones from friends of Hunter who have shown me how much he did care about our relationship and did love. ALL have been a blessing, and when I return it is you who will be part of this.

On a selfish point, I would like to let you all know that I actually had a stretch of limited surges (5 days). Sadly, it has returned with a vengeance. I’m dumbfounded as to how, why & when it hits – the pain is just generic levitra ridiculous. The last few days have been just ugly. But there is some good news among this nightmare.

Hunter Bravo 6 little foot is a good idea. I’m going thru the ball better. I also bowled 202 & 200 in my league games. These are good signs.

levitra over the counter

I also saw a young man ( http://www.golfchip.com ) who thought he might be able to heal things quicker & better. So, I tried these little chips on, and the ankle felt better in one day than forever. I’m not saying it was because of these little chips but it’s one hell of a coincidence if it’s not.

I picked up 10-15 yards on the drive yesterday. It was a real hope for me that I can beat this obstacle. I will take on these losses and fight like hell. I will forever miss them all but i will not give up. I have lost 5 loved ones, but I have gained so many wonderful people that give me hope.

My oldest son, Junior [Ken Green, Jr.], has recently passed furosemide cats the state exam, so he is officially a police officer (yes, I still get tickets). I have told him the way things are going he should move to Russia.

Trust me when I tell you I need those letters of support.

OK, on another side point – please forgive my wandering thoughts as this is how i think at the moment. It will come back someday.

I hope Kenny Gunderson reads this as I lost your address. Please send me your address you big head – inside joke.

Craig Thomas (friend & golf pro) is playing in a junior-senior best ball next Wed-Thur. It will be interesting so look forward to it – I’ll keep you posted.

Be good as you are my Angels in disguise,

    Hi Ken,

I have been following your recovery and blog ever since I read your story in Golf Digest. I just wanted to add my two pesos and wish you luck with your comeback. What you wrote about your son and ex-wife…I can empathize. As far as your health and golf, keep at it. There are more people than you can imagine who remember your regular tour days, know your story, and are pulling for you.

    All the best,

    Hi Ken,

Good to see you are continuing to take this all in stride. I wrote you an email a couple weeks ago, I’m the amputee golfer from Malvern, PA. I’m also a physical therapist. The pain you are describing sounds neurogenic, or in lay terms, caused by an injured nerve. I had that kind of pain two years ago because a nerve in my stump got entrapped against my socket. After I had the socket adjusted, I was prescribed Neurontin, which took the pain completely away in a month or so, then the nerve healed and I got rid of the pain. Honestly, you shouldn’t be having the kind of pain you are now, unless something was injured and it’s not healing, or your socket is causing the problem.

Email me if you’d like to discuss this further. Take care. Jim Curley, PT

Ken. I doubt you will remember me but your step mom Pat was my aunt. I remember you coming to the lake for some vacation time and having to come by the boat repair shop to fax documents to your lawyer almost daily because of all the shit your ex was putting you through. I remember going over to visit Pat and Marty and seeing you and your girlfriend with paint brushes in hand painting the house for them. I remember the German Sheppard being their supervising to make sure you were doing the job right. I remember you holding up the jet ski while I cut the rope out of the jet drive. Believe me, if I didn’t trust you I wouldn’t have had my head under there. I know you already know this but Pat and Marty both loved you very much. I had my doubts. A 5 time PGA Champion I figured you would just blow me off when I was there. You didn’t. You are just a regular guy just like the rest of us. Now for the down side. I know you have had some terrible things happen to you. I hate to say that I can really feal your pain . I would really have not this to happen to anybody. I rented that house for 13 years. My wife died in that house in 89 at the age of 28. My oldest daughter spent her first 13 years in that house. She died at the age of 22. Your dad died in that house. Your step mom died in that house. With that said I can say that I really can feel your pain. I know you can handle all of what you have been through. Life can be cruel but I would be proud to carry your bag for you during your comeback. Go for it Ken.

  10. Kim Adele Hastert says:

Dear Ken, It is SO GREAT to hear you sounding SO positive & upbeat! YOU ARE A GREAT MAN & I’M SURE THAT YOU ARE A GREAT FATHER. It is sad when parents use their children as weapons. My mom tried to manipulate my sister & I into believing that my father was the devil, but children discover the truth, if not right away, eventually. BEST WISHES for a speedy recovery & return to the tour. Please feel free to call me if you need any positivity coaching. I worked briefly with Ryuji Imada in Hawaii and he has made 4 cuts in a row & over 150K so far. He told me his game sucked & I coached him for 7 – 10 minutes & it seems to have worked for him. 816 442 8298 520 275 0469 Sincerely yours, Kim Adele Hastert

  19. Trish says:

Hello Ken. I am the Trish in San Antonio that wrote about 10 days ago. I have had a week-long migraine and understand the pain issues well. Also have scoliosis, arthritis, fibromyalgia, bone spurs and discs issues. After awhile, pain becomes a daily part of life and much easier to deal with. I promise. Daddy says we hurt, therefore we live (he’s 85 years young)!!! Great way to look at pain!! Keep up the good work. I have found that every treatment is worth investigating and trying. Keep up the great attitude. Blessings to you, Trish

  20. Rob Pike says:

You are a continual source of inspiration. I can’t say enough about the example of courage and endurance you are setting for those of us fortunate enough to know you. Keep the faith, friend.
We’re all cheering and praying for you. rp

  21. Jude says:

Ken, don’t ever give up. It’s always darkest before the dawn, and God knows you have seen more than your share of grief and heartache. I pray for you every day, that with each sunrise that you experience, that you will feel the awakening of the great child of God that is being molded through your strength and faith during these difficult times. God Bless You.
