KG’s Blog Post #6 – 7/23/09

Good day America,

Right out of the box – congrats to 15 year old nephew Shane on shooting his lowest round ever, a sweet 68.

Cause we’re so close to water, i’m here to say that i whipped out 14 laps today. please bear in mind these are pool laps not real laps – however i’m still happy with the number.

Thanks for all the people who ordered hats – they’re good hats.

Truth be told today has been a really bad pain today – was on a three day decent run – go figure.

I’ve been writing a lot of thank you notes to all the people who sent me get well cards – i say thanks and will not be able to get to them all.

Shelley and her family are going to be able to attend the Sept28 fundraiser – both Slugger & Shane will play. The best news is that Shelley and I will be able to bring gabapentin high my Mom’s ashes back to her Mom’s grave and some of Billy’s ashes will rest with my Mom. I don’t know if should mention so I’m sorry if this was wrong.

No little humorous bit today – my brain is in tough mode due to http://furosemide20-40mgdosage.com/ pain and pills. Thanks 4 all the birthday wishes – anybody notice i was in the list of infamous humans born today.

I went 5 weeks with out a hctz and lisinopril shower. In my drug induced state in Miss, I ask my sister to suck my toe as they were wheeling me out to chop it off. All this info is awesome.

Good night to all and keep ur damn head still when u putt.

    Subj: Hey Ken…..
Ken – Brian and I have been following your career and latest challenge closely. We met you back in Florida years ago when we owned a condo in So. Palm Beach and had a few fun nights out together. I remember watching you hit those golf balls out of your sliding glass doors – cringing the entire time!
Was up in Danbury visiting my mom over the weekend and read about this website in the NewsTimes – thought I’d get a note of support out to you from Brian and I via this site – you are an amazing guy and we wish you all the best. Whether or not you remember us, I just wanted to send you a big hug.

In 1981 (I think) I was at the GHO (one of your personal majors) and followed you the first 2 days to a -1 (just making the cut) and became a fan. Over the years I moved around but have seen you play at the Western and Westchester (another personal major.) I remember you being 4th on the money list ($700,000 I think) and winning back to back tournaments.
I was so happy to see you back on the Champions Tour. I will be following your recovery and look forward to seeing you out there again!
