I wouldn't have expected anything less from our boy. After all, this is the same guy who wrestled an alligator to save his beloved dog Nip.

Keep it up Ken, I hope this is just the beginning of many more spectacular feats, including victory on the tour.

Best,

Unfortunately, what happened was not captured on film. Like I said, the cameraman from the Golf Channel was so freaked out at what Ken was trying to do, he climbed down out of the tower and came over to the edge of the creek, ready to jump in and rescue our boy.

Some of the great moments in sport happen on national television in front of millions; some take place in front of fifteen people. This was the real deal.

I saw Bob Beamon break the world record in the long jump by two feet in Mexico City when I was eighteen years old. I saw Greg Lemond make up 28 seconds in the final stage of the Tour de France maintaining a speed no human being should have been capable of. I watched a bunch of kids on the U.S. Ice Hockey Team beat the Russians when no one gave them a chance, and I saw my friend make what may have been one of the greatest shots in the game.

We weren't going to win the tournament that day. And in the great scheme of things it didn't matter, except to a man who so loves the game of golf, he was not willing to give up. The point is to shoot the lowest score you can. That's what Kenny did. That's what he's always done.

Sounds like one of Kenny's "routine pars", on the way toward a miracle. Keep at it.
